WE DID IT!

As the final buzzer sounded on Monday night and University of Connecticut became the champs, I went to bed grateful for all that God had done through you over the last month. Together, YOU had given $29,604 to raise the roof in Lewiston and heat the seats in Portland! What an amazing testament to your generosity and the faithfulness of God to our work and ministry. Like San Diego State, we were falling short of our goal, needing just under $400, but God had provided so much, all we could be is grateful and excited. The biggest, most improbable MADNESS on a MISSION had come to a close.
Or so I thought.
I was in our Lewiston location on Tuesday morning, when our Admin Coordinator, Emily brought in the mail. Included were some bills and a bunch of junk, but one envelope stood out, marked with only the worlds, “The Root Cellar, MADNESS on a MISSION.” Inside was $600 cash, eclipsing our $30,000 MADNESS on a MISSION goal!
As we smiled and rejoiced, a verse in Philippians came to mind, “But my God shall supply all your needs…”
To be honest, that verse always seems a little “too good to be true” to me, but that’s showing my lack of faith. This incredible, anonymous act of generosity shows just how faithful He is to us.
Thank you. Thank you for giving generously, embracing MADNESS and making our roof and HVAC system a priority. It’s truly an honor and privilege to be partnered with you in our ministry!

No one picked the correct winner - first time that has happened in MADNESS on a MISSION! In the end, we had a tie breaker, with Kyle Wenger cutting down the nets! He will get first pick of 4 prizes! With he 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place finishers receiving the remaining prizes listed below!
