Women’s Gathering

“There are not many spaces in our city that we can meet and spend time together. Spending time with my sisters every other Friday nourishes my soul.”
— Nora, Portland Neighbor

LAdies Breakfast

Each Wednesday @ 9:30 AM from September - June

All who attend are invited to be part of a caring community of women. We enjoy a delicious breakfast made by committed volunteers. In addition to the weekly breakfast there are also many different types of activities. From apple picking and craft making to sharing favorite recipes and art lessons from local professionals - there’s something for everyone! Live music and a word from a guest speaker will leave you inspired and encouraged.

The true highlights of the Ladies Breakfast are the great relationships that develop around each table. This diverse and multicultural group of women is a glimpse into the diverse and multicultural Kingdom of Heaven.

We always need volunteers! All are welcome to join, create a welcoming, festive environment, prepare your favorite dish to share, or just sit, listen, chat and make a new friend.

International Womens tea

The International Women's Tea meets throughout the summer and fall seasons each year. Meetings are held once a month and new immigrant and refugee women are invited to join them for an informational and delicious lunch. Topics include resettling into the culture and climate of Portland, Maine as well as opportunities to experience cultures from around the world.

Volunteer, join our team and welcome a new refugee/asylum seeker to their new home. You will love learning about a different culture and building a relationship with one of our new immigrant neighbors.
