Mentoring our littlest neighbors

All of our youth programs function as a mentor group that works, plays, grows, and learns together. In the past year, we have matched over 100 neighborhood youth (ages 6-18) with trained mentors. These groups happen seasonally, year round and everything in between.

Elementary After-school Mentoring Groups

Our Elementary Mentoring Groups meet during the school year on Mondays - Thursdays from 3:15-5pm. We seek to mentor the whole person, engaging each of these amazing little neighbors in activities that inspire them to discover their place in the story God is writing in their own neighborhood. This theme runs through each physical and educational activity. Stop by on a weekday afternoon and experience a place where loud laughter is common, creativity is encouraged and each person is highly valued.

Each of our mentors are trained, screened and supervised within our after-school programing. Our mentors help to create a welcoming environment and facilitate restorative justice practices within the each group - fostering healthy relationships, forgiveness and reconciliation.

We are currently enrolling 1st - 7th graders in After- school Mentor Groups. For more information, call Alyssa at 207-782-3659.
